This conference was jointly organized with UNESCO-IHP.


The 4th APHW Conference (APHW2008) was held at Beijing, China during 3-5 November 2008.


The 3rd APHW Conference (APHW2006) was held at Bangkok, Thailand during 16-18 October 2006.


International conference on Hydrological Sciences for Managing Water Resources in the Asian Developing world was held at Guangzhou, China during 8-10 June 2006. The meeting was co-sponsored by IAHS, IWRA, APHW, WMO-CHy, UNESCO-IHP, ASCE-EWRI and IAHR.


The 2nd AOGS conference (AOGS2005) was held on 20 to 24 June 2005
at
Singapore Suntec City Convention Center.

APHW, one of supporting organizations of AOGS 2005, provides a financial
support program for about
20 young researchers who make an oral presentation
at the HS sessions. The total amount of the support is
S$1,000 per person
which includes traveling and accommodation expenses but does not cover
abstract and registration fees. As for the registration fee waive, anybody
can apply for the
AOGS-2005 Grant Award. The candidates of APHW awardees are
to be listed by each convener of HS sessions, and the Award Committee of
APHW selects the final awardees out of the listed candidates. Therefore,
those who wish to receive the APHW support will be contacted by each session
convener

Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) Conference.

Asia Pacific Association of Hydrology and Water Resources (APHW) was established on 1st September 2002. (Some Japanese membership gathered  in Tokyo on 26 August 2002 and cerebrated launch of the Association.)
